Update on the Masterfoods outcry

As I posted the other day – Masterfoods shot themselves in the foot with the decision to use rennet in their confectionary.

(For those of you just joining us – your favourite Mars Bar, Snickers, etc is now made using rennet from the stomach lining of young calves.)

Many people were upset by this. Many.

First there was a petition set up – In it they request that Masterfoods change their new practice of using rennet. Currently there are 2250 signatures (as of May 16th) and you can add your signature at:
