Update on the Masterfoods outcry

As I posted the other day - Masterfoods shot themselves in the foot with the decision to use rennet in their confectionary.
(For those of you just joining us - your favourite Mars Bar, Snickers, etc is now made using rennet from the stomach lining of young calves.)
Many people were upset by this. Many.
First there was a petition set up - In it they request that Masterfoods change their new practice of using rennet. Currently there are 2250 signatures (as of May 16th) and you can add your signature at:

Great news - just announced on R6 - Masterfoods products to be veggie again after u-turn!!! i’m chuffed because I work for them and am vegetarian……..
