Britain’s 10 Best Vegetarian Restaurants

The Vegetarian Society has announced the winners for the Best UK Independent Restaurant for Vegetarian Food and this is a historic year because there are joint winners – and – because both of them are in the north.

» The Dandelion and Burdock is a shorter drive for ScouseVeggies, over the Pennines an hour’s drive to Sowerby Bridge in Yorkshire.
(Extra Note: D&B is completely vegan, so worth a visit since November is Vegan Month)

» The next one is further away in Stockton on Tees, but worth a visit if you find yourself around there. Another but though – The Waiting Room is an extremely popular place and booking is advised.
