Sultans has to be my favourite Indian restaurant in Liverpool, its the only Indian place I have found that does Bengal Bhartha (baked and mashed aubergine), it is fantastic and worth a try. If you are vegan let them know when your ordering from the veggie range and they will make sure its includes no butter etc!

This is my all time favourite Indian restaurant in town…I go there so often they actually know me….how sad is that? LOL I take all my friends there too and the staff are wonderful, the surroundings are comfortable. They’ve just had a re-fit and re opened on 6 June but I’ve not had a chance to go take a look yet.

Went to Sultan’s Palace with my partner when we visited Liverpool last summer. Was very quiet (mid-week), and the waiting staff were attentive and friendly. Food was delicious. A word of advice, though: I ordered a vegetable dish, but when it came it had cheese in it, whiich had not been listed on the menu. Wasn’t a problem for me – but if you want to be sure, you should ask! Obvious really! Would recommend.
