I talked to Carrina and asked her about herself:
“I am very passionate about animals and nature, always have been. I am lucky enough to be in a position to enable me to start a vegan business with which I am so proud of as it hasn’t been an easy road.
The main reason for this business is because I want to show people that you can have beauty products that are not tested on animals and that don’t contain anything from animals either. I also want to show that being green (buying ethical products which also helps our environment and animals) can also mean being glam, it doesn’t have to be all earthy and hippy as I call it.
We have always had animals in our family home which have always been rescue animals. My mother used to be a veterinary nurse so I learnt a lot from her.”
Some things to draw your attention to…
- As mentioned all items are vegan.
- Their packing materials are 70% recycled and 100% recyclable.
- Tamu is a good product as is has a great story, please check out their page. It is a story with 3 parts to it, hover over tamu story on the nav bar.
- Matt and Nat are great as they are a designer brand, they recycle their bag linings and they are not leather but feel exactly like leather.
- And also Pacifica are a lovely brand. Great for candles, body butters, perfumes – ideal as gifts.
- Also Live Native are lovely people. All their products are vegan. Very recommended.
They are expanding all their ranges all the time and even have some products in Honest To Goodness in Hoylake.
