My name, you will not be surprised to read, is a nickname given to me by Niki (who runs the ScouseVeg social group and this website). I think it was in revenge for me nicknaming and always calling her Veggie – even though she is Vegan. But the nickname is appropriate since this is what I do.
I am not just a website designer, but a web builder, developer and consultant of virtual domiciles too.
A brief bio before I do the hard sell :
Originally from the NorthWest of England…confession: I’m not an actual full on Scouser. Wasn’t born within the sounds of Mathew Street, but did live in Liverpool 8 and down Salford, MCR way … but after moving around a bit more we finally settled in North Carolina, U.S.A.
Before this move I previously worked for a large Oxford publishing company specialising in online publishing for academic libraries and their journals. After emigrating I decided to do this for myself full time.
Obviously I am available for hire and I like to help anyone get online.
From simple photo albums to blogs and full blown websites. Not only with the design of them but with the redesign of your existing sites (if you have one), plus – and this is where I differ – the administration of your website.
Most people don’t have either the time or the patience to create or keep their online presence updated, which is where I can help you. For a fee up front or a small monthly payment I can create, or update and manage the site on your behalf. You maintain complete control and you instruct me on what content you would like to see, I then do the research and post everything on the website. The ScouseVeg website is an example of this in action.
