I’m a little late with my The VeganKind review this month, but I promise that’s only because I’ve been so busy! I’m slowly finding my feet in my new job, rushing around getting everything ready for the wedding (6 weeks!) and planning my posts for Vegan MoFo, so the blog has been suffering a little. But I’ll make up for that next month!
The first item in this month’s box was Propercorn Sweet & Salty (full size). This has been one of my favourite snacks in the past few months and I was happy to find it in my box! I love popcorn, and this particular variety perfectly balances sweet and salty!
Next up was a non-food item. The very first TVK box, one of the items was a little bag of Living Naturally soap nuts. The brand makes a return with this bag of laundry tabs. I haven’t used them yet, but I’m currently making a conscious effort to replace all my conventional household products with more eco-friendly options, so these are a great option for me. If you have any suggestions for green cleaning products, please let me know in the comments!
It seems to be a month of favourites here, since the next product was a bag of Freedom Mallows! This time it was the strawberry flavour, which isn’t my favourite, but they were delicious with hot chocolate nonetheless!
And another recent favourite! I’ve made no secret of the fact that Pulsin bar are my favourite post-workout treat. Unfortunately, they do contain a lot of sugar in the form of Agave, so they’re not great for an everyday protein pick-me-up. Instead, I like to reserve them for a treat after a particularly intense workout.
This snack from Nothing But was the only thing in the box I really wasn’t sure about. It consists of Mange Tout and Red Peppers, which have been freeze dried. It just wasn’t up my street if I’m honest.
Lastly, the box contained this wristband by Teen VGN. It’s displayed proudly on my desk at work!
Did you receive a box this month? What did you think?
Disclaimer: I receive a 50% blogging discount on my subscription of The VeganKind. This in no way distorts my review.
