It’s summer, it’s warm, I’m pregnant and too tired to spent ages on my makeup every morning. What could be more fitting that BB Cream? I’ve been a huge fan of them for ages, and have tried many different brands, but I can honestly say that I have never tried one that I liked quite as much as GOSH BB Cream.
The cream comes in a sleek black tube. I love that the packaging is functional, looks nice on your dressing table and isn’t overly gimmicky – it’s simple and mess-free to use, a quality that many foundations lack in my experience.
The product itself is quite creamy and it applies easily without being so liquidy that it makes a mess or so solid that it applies unevenly. While I initially thought that the shade was a little too light for me, it blends in perfectly once applied and is completely invisible on my face. I tend to apply it with my fingers, and it stays in place for most of the day, keeping redness and little blemishes in check. My skin has been quite good recently, so I can’t tell you how GOSH BB Cream would fare with more noticeable blemishes, but since it covers up the redness on my cheeks quite well, I’m guessing that it would do a good job. My only criticism of the actual product would be the limited range of shades – there are currently only five.
The tube costs £9.99 at Superdrug, which is a little more than I would usually spend on BB Cream, but I’ve found that a little goes a long way and one tube will last for quite a while. While it’s a little bit pricier than other drugstore brands, GOSH BB Cream is a fantastic product and I think it’s worth spending just under £10 on. If I stumble across it on offer, I’ll definitely be stocking up!
Have you tried any GOSH products? They have a really long vegan list and I can’t wait to try a few other things!
