Against Live Animal Exports March and Rally

Posted on

Viva have organised a March and Rally in Dover for Saturday May 6th, to protest against the export of live animals.

From the Viva website >

“After a 10 year hiatus, and despite huge public opposition, Britain’s unwanted male dairy calves will once again be shipped long distances to suffer in Continental veal crates.

Farmers have lobbied the Government relentlessly for the resumption of calf exports. We need to show politicians that most people are appalled at this trade and want it banned. Please join the demonstration in Dover and help send a strong message to the Government.”

You can download a flyer here. (.pdf format 1.6megs) and a map for directions here (.pdf format)
