My The VeganKind boxes always remind me of how fast the months are going by. It seems like I’ve just settled into the month and figured out what I need to do and BOOM, it’s already the next month, my next box has arrived and my to-do-before-baby list has become a little longer.
This month’s box contained some lovely summery items – it’s just a shame that the weather isn’t playing along. There was a fantastic cookie mix, which was delicious and would have been ideal to make for a picnic. Unfortunately, no one likes sitting in the rain, so we had them indoors instead! Jake loved the Beond bites, which I passed on as usual, and I really enjoyed snacking on the Hoots multigrain snack. They reminded me of bagel chips, which were a staple during my time in the USA but, for some reason, haven’t made their way to Europe yet. That’s a shame, because they’re delicious! I was also a huge fan of the chocolate, although it is very dark and strong, so may not be to everyone’s taste.
August’s The VeganKind box also included a restorative tea, which I’ll be trying after the baby is born, and a Dr Organic deodorant. I’m always on the look-out for vegan and natural deodorants that actually work (they seem to be something of a rarity), and I’ve never tried this brand before, so I’m very excited to test it out!
What did you think of this month’s box?
