I can’t believe it’s been a full year since The VeganKind launched their subscription box service! They’ve gone from strength to strength in the last 12 months and I’m so happy I was allowed to be a part of the journey. I’m so excited to see what the next year will bring (a tri-monthly Beauty Box has already been added to the offering), and I’m looking forward to working with the brand for another year! When their anniversary box landed on my desk (literally, I get it delivered to work), I couldn’t help but take an immediate peek. I wasn’t disappointed! Please excuse my dodgy photography. I took the photos in the evening and tried to edit as much of the yellow tint away as I could, but I’m no pro!
The first item in the box was Considerit… Sea Salt Caramel (full size). This is the company that made our wedding favours, and their chocolate is some of the best I’ve ever tasted, vegan or not. Seriously. I can’t stop going on about it, and neither can our wedding guests. This little pot contains the Sea Salt Caramel that they fill some of their bars with, and it’s delicious! I made the hot chocolate on TVK‘s recipe card (written by one of my favourite bloggers, The Vegan Cookie Fairy) with it. Then I ate the rest with a spoon. Yep.
Next was The Primal Kitchen‘s Coconut & Macadamia Paleo Bar (full size). As usual, I gave this to Jake. He liked it, but said it was nothing particularly special.
An old favourite returned in the form of the Rebel Kitchen Orange Choc Mylk (full size). Rebel Kitchen are one of my favourite brands out their and I regularly buy their little mylks when I have a longer journey ahead of me or feel like I need a special treat in my packed lunch. My favourite is the Chai flavour, but this was amazing, too!
Another favourite brand was featured as the regular non-food item. Earlier this year, we had a sugared almond body wash, this month, we got the Organic Surge Awakening Bodywash (full size)! I’ve been using this recently and I love the smell. For some reason, I’ve really struggled to get myself out of bed in the mornings, and the citrusy fragrance really gives me the kick I need to get myself moving!
Another favourite! Ten Acre How Chicken Soup Saved The Day (full size) disappeared pretty fast after I took this photo… While I love the brand’s Cheese & Onion flavour, this was a bit too salty for my taste. But if you’re usually into this type of flavour, I would highly recommend it!
Lastly, there was a pouch of pre-cooked quinoa (full size)! Quinola sell this amazing product, which I found really handy. We eat quite a lot of quinoa in this household, and sometimes it can be really nice to have one less step to complete while making dinner!
Overall, this was another great box worth £14.42. As always, it’s great value!
